Every individual experiences life in a unique and personal way, yet there are universal themes that resonate through the human race. By capturing a person’s likeness in a photograph, we can relate to the subject’s story, gaining insights into who they are as well as growing ourselves. My goal is to leave an impression on my audience. In this example of street photography, I am not trying to impart a truth that I hold dear; I am providing an experience for viewers to see how we relate to the world and to each other.
