In response to my urban upbringing, natural environments have always been a serene escape from reality. I have vivid memories of exploring what seemed to be an endless forest filled with trickling streams and luscious flora. These places became isolated yet intimate environments that allowed for healing from our constantly changing world. A Faint Sense of Familiarity embraces these feelings and translates them through the perspective of a loose memory recreating vivid elements and abstracting others.
