Amid the chaos of life is a still and centered self. I am interested in capturing glimpses of this stillness through action. Being away from my roots in Los Angeles, all of what has influenced me seems to become highlighted while in the unfamiliar surroundings of Greater Detroit. As I pull from the expressiveness of L.A. street graffiti and from my Japanese heritage, the stability and quiet that is within starts to become visible.
