As I rapidly approach a new milestone of my life, I see myself as a woman with fresh shades of colors. Being swamped away in the fast pace of life, I feel it is necessary to paint my self-portrait at different stages of my existence and give myself a chance to look deeper to truly see myself. My color palette in this painting is an expression of my current personality at age 29, a mixture of a Persian, Canadian woman, and here I painted my identity, culture and personal moment of being drowned in memories.
