I utilize food imagery as a metaphor of modern consumption to address a material nature and a growing emphasis on sensational experience. From painting and digital collage to textiles and screen-printing, mediums with varied levels of mechanic and analog efforts are employed to shift visual languages toward conceptual discussions in slightly different perspectives. Obvious or ambiguous repetition through printing references mass media advertisements and industrialized production. The visualization comes with a subtle twist—a retrospective of the sublime Romantic landscapes.
