My work is constructed from photographic fragments, personally documented in multiple locations, which serve as mnemonic traces of time and place. My work addresses the shifting dimensions and rapid loss of the traditional fabric in the natural environment and the transition into the anonymous sprawl of today’s urban landscape. I present an ambiguous viewpoint that explores the dichotomy of contemporary landscape. It is ultimately a lament to the destructive potential of urban growth urbanity and the loss of cultural specificity.
