I practice antiquated photographic processes of an extremely hands on nature because it forces me to
slow down and contemplate the implications of time, place, and cultural shifts which have occurred over the past century. The resulting images are unique objects with a raw and organic appearance. The surface may
at first be interpreted as historical, but when the details
are scrutinized the subject matter reveals itself to
be contemporary.
