Nontoxic acrylic on raw canvas, 2018, 40"w x 42"h
The painting was completed as part of the Standing in the Water series. This canvas was brought into the Don Valley and painted using river water. Some of the marks are rubbings of the earth underneath. The raw canvas is then cropped, stretched, primed and transformed into a painting. The accompanying photo shows the exact location where the painting was made.
