These shapes are first turned on the lathe from wood and finely finished with conversion varnish. Once finished they become fetish objects in and of themselves and the master shape from which variable molds are made. These molds are then used to cast from. This process speaks to the multiple and the infinite variations that a shape can become when cloned and manipulated/combined with others of a similar method.
