Cycling of light through space is central in my work. I study how light affects our experience of space, how it makes us feel and behave in particular spaces — whether it is a theater, lighthouse or magnifying glass. I look at how these sources are used in their general or normal context, and then I try to push them into a gray area where they become more fluid as a material containing a new meaning.
