My work reflects my personal experience within the cityscape; it is a representation of urban space and structural form. Images are constructed through cartography. Buildings, alleyways, and streets are translated into a visual language of expressive mark-making that map out the city. Mediums such as ink, aerosol, and house paint speak to me as tools of both repairing and disrupting urban spaces. The palette of black and white references architectural and systematic drawings.
