My art is currently an exploration of the different ways people express their ideas and beliefs through their physical appearances. I have focused on the more permanent markings of the body, such as tattooing and scarring. Every culture has different reasons and methods behind marking bodies, so I try to incorporate the physical markings, as well as the reasons behind them, in a visual manner.
