This piece is a reinterpretation of landscape painting. Taken from an aerial view, it is abstracted from traditional landscape through its color and ambiguous horizon line.
I want to thank Abigail for her thoughtfulness. I attended the last Art reception held on February 18 and enjoyed taking time to experience all of the art work in our building. The following day I came back to my desk to find a copy of the Experiencing Perspectives guide on my desk open and flipped over. When I turned it over it was on the page with Abigail’s painting, a painting which is right in front of my desk. She personally signed the guide simply saying, “hope you enjoyed it.” Well Abigail, I have enjoyed it. Not only have you given me something beautiful to look at it but you remind me that it is the simple, small things we do that can have the biggest impact. This simple gesture embodies what we at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services like to call, CustomerONE. Thank you!
