This work focuses on the way colors interact when placed together and the way abstract forms come together to form a landscape. By using simplified forms I was able to build from one mark to the next, free drawing until I was satisfied with composition and image. Scale also plays an important role in this piece. Depicting something as vast as a valley on such a small scale makes this very intimate and personal.
