Identitas Processus is an art piece that can be experienced both vertically and horizontally with an emphasis in the depth of the piece. The patterns are generated from the same artwork but through the use of different types of milling bits ranging from 1/2″ to 1/16″. The emphasis is on the CNC machine as a processing tool and its ability to change the identity of the piece on several different levels. It’s intriguing how the same machine, with the slightest changes, is able to generate different patterns and, with that, boldly present different DNAs.
