My work presents the viewer with a situation rather than signification. I prefer to show a composition that sets a mood somewhere between familiar and new. Objects are simultaneously present and absent; surface and content create an intriguing combination. The viewers are in charge of applying their own interpretation and deductions to digest the work. This piece is no exception; a series of familiar objects are shown from a fresh perspective, and their context is shifted. They are reformulated and reconceptualized.
