Having grown up on the border between El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, I became interested in the language and architectural style of the region. The vernacular is reflected in my practice in an informal style yet an earnest attitude toward ideas, events and memories. These objects then become residual artifacts reflecting traditions of home.
