I am interested in our relationship to the numerical systems and data structures under which we operate. The work is an exploration into the repetitive nature of data and the desire for objective perfection. The lines shown are created from ZIP codes, phone numbers, height and years of birth from 30 individuals. This data is translated into line equations in order to create systematic portraits of each individual. The lines are created from materials that are either consumed or worn on the body and are drawn with the human hand to investigate the relationship between humans and data.
