My artwork is focused on expressing a narrative through the materials, mediums and design elements in my work. I use symbols, organic forms and text to tell a story through movement and interacting elements. I want my work to invoke the viewers’ imagination and capture their attention and thoughts. My works include photographs, graphite drawings, books and prints. In my intaglio prints specifically, I use delicate, thin lines to express emotion and the relationship between fragility and power. I like to use the soft linework to communicate boldness and strength through simplicity and intent.
