2013, Mixed media, Sizes vary
I come from a post-colonial South Asian country and background, and at the moment I live between the two tectonic plates of east versus west. My artwork and research process center around my inner, silent and at times defensive battle against my environment. Further, I use this as means to discover whether this is better or worse for me and my consciousness. I use illusions of everyday objects to speak of reality and existence; I thought I could handle memory, but it starts slipping away from me before I think of it. I use this impulse to my advantage.
