My pieces allow me to show how I process emotions and how the emotions evolve and stabilize. With the flow of movement and boldness of color, I am able to capture various emotions while working with color relationships. Though the pieces are abstract and unrehearsed, there is a formal quality of line in my work. It allows me to keep my pieces structured while loose in my color choices. Even though my work is emotion-based, my process is very precise in how color is applied, then cleaned up, to be tight, complete and cohesive.
