The cube started as a solid block of steel. By cutting into the steel repeatedly a sonic quality was discovered. Once the steel sections are thin enough, by rubbing, strumming or plucking the cube omits sound. I welcome people to touch and play the cube. This is why I suggest placing the cube on a desk or table which invites touch.
