Gestures of the land. Traversing the land. Mapping. Gaining an understanding. Being overwhelmed and surrounded by the unknown. Sorting through to find the way. There needs to be stillness for the world to expand in density and diversity. The act of drawing became a walk in and of itself; it felt as if I was walking the landscape.
