It is a sight we take for granted, an explanation exhausted by all painted landscapes. Landscapes have become the vocabulary for my painted contradictions. I question this: By thoroughly explaining clouds as solid forms, almost tangible, against an elusive ground, mimicking their true nature, the depth is exaggerated. Yet, there is an interference across the horizon from a circular line. Does this circle reinforce or eliminate this depth?
