I’m drawn toward the abject in everyday life and common objects. These throw pillows were made to create different levels of balance between aversion, anxiety, feelings of frustration, beauty and seduction. Some of these pillows look liquid and soft but are hard and unfamiliar to touch as they are made entirely of steel mesh on the inside. Others have different levels of hardness and softness to create a surprising tactile experience that captures little moments of joy and frustration.
