My figurative work explores surface and texture, conveying moments of thought and emotional turmoil through the careful use of layering. My exploration into traditional silverpoint drawing creates a delicate visual aesthetic, forcing the drawings to take on a life of their own as they slowly tarnish and evolve over time.
