As an observer, I find it is easy to become lost in your thoughts and miss out on the beauty that surrounds you during habitual patterns of movement. I chose to represent multiple sensory experiences that occur on the Toronto subway system to question why these moments get categorized as familiar and irrelevant. Day 44 and Day 72 strive to draw one into recognizable shapes and allow for the opportunity to see the extraordinary in the ordinary.
