2011, Photographs, 22"w x 16.5"h (each)
This body of work came from an exercise in introducing language into the landscape. Each word, carefully chosen for its length, shape, sound and meaning were carved into the granite shoals of Norton Island off the coast of Maine. Then the same words were reproduced on the mossy interior of the island. One lasting far into the future, the other until the next rain.
