Found objects, 2018, 6"w x 12"h x 1"d
My art practice examines humanity’s complicated relationship with nature. I transform found objects and natural materials into artworks with their own life cycles, containing stories of human use, interaction and ultimately disposal. My artworks explore critical narratives about our consumer culture that question the sustainability of the post-industrial society. By celebrating natural phenomena as essential elements of human existence, I explore positive strategies to promote a healthy environment for future generations to enjoy.
