Anger is certainly a kind of baseness; it appears in the weakness of those subjects in which it reigns. Only men must be aware that they carry their anger with scorn rather than with fear so that they may seem to be above injury rather than below it. By breaking my violin into pieces and showing the five different stages of anger, I aim to let people be aware of controlling their emotions because the damage caused by excessive anger is irretrievable.
