2012, Laser cut inkjet prints, Sizes vary
My work explores the interaction of image, language, sound and the way they are used to construct meaning. This piece is part of a series created by using images from a video project that centered on the desert landscape. It uses text and images in a narrative format to explore the many interpretations of the desert and the ways in which we conflate them. The laser-cut ink-jet prints play off the oscillation of the desert landscape to reveal and obscure the story being told.
