I am interested in the transmutation of the organic and manufactured. Transience and permanence, irreproducibility and manufacturability, vibrancy and subtlety are contrasts manifested in these materials. By synthesizing and distorting these properties, I hope to create work that wavers between identities, existing unfamiliarly as both elemental and man-made objects.
