My art practice is cross-disciplinary, aimed at underscoring a personal bond to objects, images and ideas that are shared and repeated, acknowledging the impression these entities leave on individuals (and vice versa). I look at the idea of the imprint and the desire to mark one’s presence or experience. Images dig into the paper to show a mark left behind, while another is embossed, taken home as a souvenir of travels.
