Abstraction provides an outlet for me to explore the indeterminate, the in-between, the uncertain and the unknown. My compositions are carefully constructed to reflect my awareness of the space and surface of each painting, and my hand is evident in the wavering geometric forms, skewed grids and washes of thinly applied oil. These formal characteristics are the crux of my work; they hint at both the absence and presence of structure or logic.
