My current series, Urban Legends, features subjects who are presented in a fantasy role of their choosing. In this way, the works reference contemporary phenomena like cosplay events and role-playing games. By merging these self-aggrandizing avatars with the realist painting techniques of Baroque artists, I am citing a tradition in which adulatory portraits were primarily reserved for figures of high status. Created outside the commission model, the fantasies of my subjects embody culturally and historically informed narratives that speak to diverse contemporary issues.

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in 2020 in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so for another year, through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
