In my work, I use the language of the industrial exterior to begin constructing a new interior. To design is to be concerned with the infrastructure of everyday life—to be concerned with the infrastructure of the human spirit. This new post-industrial interior reflects the beautiful and sometimes brutal landscape that we as humans have constructed for ourselves.
