My work addresses the coexistence of the semipermanent and the ephemeral. It addresses the improvisation of memory with the mundane and domestic. I work with a wide variety of mediums such as dance performance, ceramics, painting, sculpture and impermanent installations to address associations with such mentioned themes. Minimalism, color and taking up large volumes of space are motifs or tools that I use to frame my work.
