Words fascinate me for their ability to archive sensation and understanding. Further, I am compelled by handwriting as an act of deposition into this archive. But something always eludes what this archive is streamlined to encapsulate. I yearn more and more for the physicality of events and for concrete consequences. I fear being trapped within notebooks. I don’t want to need these words. My work investigates language as the grouping and regrouping of systematic modules that we constantly shift and shimmer to reveal meaning.
