My work is a study of the emotions and intuition that compel our creative expression. The visual interpretation of compulsion, deliberation and incremental realization creates a dense and intricately layered image. This process of painting results in a whiteness. White behaves in my work as the antithesis of all color, symbolizing purity and enlightenment. The final image is a landscape of questions obscured through a veil of realization, resolution and understanding.
