Great Stuff foam spray, 2017, 70"w x 60"h, depth varies
My work acts as an entry point to stories of childhood and windows into my own human experience. These pieces are built from memories of coral reefs off the coast of Hualtuco, Mexico, where I spent some time as a kid. The samples refer to plastigomerates in the current Anthropocene age, the time period when human influence can significantly alter the Earth’s physical, chemical and biological landscape.
