Acrylic paint and medium, braced wood panel, 2016, 48"w x 48"h x 1.5"d
A movie about a father, his daughter and a bunch of geese; the image of a man leaning against a window frame; words that I read once—things I’ve stored away for safekeeping, for revisiting from time to time, for taking with me. An exploration of my memory, time and space. I use a process of layering paint and washes to create a pushing back and pulling forward of details. This pushing and pulling, adding and reducing, explores the tension between what happened and what we remember, between the familiar and the experienced. Between desire and reality.

Due to the building guidelines that are in place in response to the COVID-19 situation, we are unable to install a new art exhibit in our Farmington Hills, Michigan and Fort Worth, Texas offices.
Thankfully, the majority of artists who currently have their work on display in our Michigan and Texas locations have graciously allowed us to continue to do so through the spring of 2021. We would like to extend a huge thank you to those artists and we look forward to continuing with a new exhibition in the summer of 2021.
