This body of work is a personal reflection on the journey between dream and reality. The imaginary spaces in my dreams create alternate forms of bodily experience within the familiar narrative of the dream. The combination of these dreams with my actual memories creates something different from those experienced realities. The dreams that I have of my childhood home seem to be affecting my actual experiences within that house. This body of work is a metaphor of my anguished struggle to understand or to critique my past and my present, a visual fight to distinguish real from imaginary!
