My ambitions as an artist are to construct painted and sculptural environments that drift freely and discursively through questions of space. These works are based on the concept that all vision is profoundly corporeal; that perception is related inevitably back to one’s perception of one’s own body within the context of relative time and space. The spatial networks created when displaying these works emphatically reasserts the idea of the viewer as object and observer.
