Painting is the greatest meditation medium available to me. It is my strict policy to document only the people and places with which I have had direct and personal encounters and to share these moments with others. At times I have employed dream recollection imagery as a way to communicate a more abstract scenario, but my main practice is the everyday waking human experience. Through the use of large-scale surfaces, I aim to place and envelop the viewer within the framework as a means to properly transmit the atmosphere and mood of a particular setting.
