I am interested in psychological dissonance and how it can be conveyed through the medium of painting. Many visual elements such as colour, shape and repetition are combined to create a piece that evokes positive and negative valence. My paintings arise from my world view that contemporary life is chaotic, sometimes traumatic, strange but somehow survivable because of the potential for love, peace and happiness.
