Inspired by the triangular number series, which consists of the numbers 0, 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, etc., to form bigger and bigger triangles, this piece represents a systemic, mathematical approach to a work of art. Each of the triangles and circles is measured in increments and ratios derived from this number series in order to form the optical illusions and geometric unity throughout the piece.
