There is striking beauty in the role the human figure has in society, and I intend to explore it further with my career in the arts. I have a strong understanding of human anatomy due in part to my first degree from McMaster University. Because of this, the human figure is often the subject of my work. I enjoy the use of depth and texture in my pieces because it draws the audience into the piece and allows for more inviting imagery.
