I am interested in deconstructing materials and questioning the value of those materials as well as the value of my efforts and time. I purchased an 8′ x 4′ sheet of foam board insulation and used a band saw and a chop saw to turn the sheet into millions of pieces of particulate. During this process, I took photos of the blue dust clinging to the work surfaces and translated those photos into drawings.
