The series Hanging Out depicts women as asserting and celebrating their relationships with themselves and with other women. The all-female environments accentuate the importance of allyship for the normalization of female sexuality. The objective is to reject heteropatriarchal systems of essentialism and explore the complexity and multifariousness of female identity and relationships.
