This art piece began with an interview. A beautiful woman sat on the couch in my studio with the afternoon sun washing over her. Yet I saw none of this. I was blindfolded. She generously shared her thoughts about time, music, loves and desires. While she spoke I drew her words. Once she had left my studio, I returned to the painting, removed my blindfold, and augmented the work—adding color, movement and definition. Time Is Moving is the recording of the woman’s thoughts—a snapshot in time, rendered in paint and charcoal.
